Welcome to Lancaster City Schools Preschool!  We look forward to getting to know you and your family. It is our goal to prepare your child to be successful in both life and school. Children are viewed as competent, curious, full of knowledge and are born ready to learn.

Preschool is a child’s first experience in school and we strive to foster a love of learning in our students. The curriculum is responsive to individual children’s needs.  While in our care, children are provided experiences in literacy, math, science, social studies, and social emotional learning.   The primary curriculum is ,The Creative Curriculum, which is based on the Ohio Early Learning  and Development Standards. The preschool curriculum is developmentally appropriate and child-centered which promotes hands-on learning for children ages three to five years old.
